Charles Henry Brent was born at New Castle, Ontario, Canada, on April 9th, 1862, and was educated at Trinity College of the University of Toronto. Ordained as a priest in 1887 in Canada, he came to the United States for his first call as an assistant at St. Paul’s Cathedral in Buffalo, New York.
